Summerlin’s official 2026 materials describe more than 300 parks across the community, from neighborhood green spaces to large village and community parks with recreation amenities.

Summerlin is large enough that the details matter. Neighborhood age, association, property type, current builder activity, amenities, access and resale competition can differ significantly across the community.

Depending on the park, amenities may include lighted sports fields, basketball and tennis courts, swimming pools, shaded play areas, picnic space and open lawns.

Parks are distributed through the village system rather than concentrated in one part of town. That means two homes with a Summerlin address can provide very different everyday access to play areas, fields, trails and recreation. Buyers should identify the closest park, walk or drive the route, and verify resident-only facilities, hours and association access.

Grand Park is planned as a major community destination, with Council Park representing its first phase. Established areas also offer mature landscaping and long-used recreation facilities. Newer western villages may provide newer park designs alongside continuing construction and future planned amenities.
